Sedona Extra: Wind Art

Jane Reporting for 8th October

One of the best things about Sedona (and one of the best things on the entire trip) were the windmills (wind toys?  wind sculptures? wind art?) all through the town but we stopped at an design/art shopping centre that had oodles of them.


According to the signs - which I only discovered after photographing more than half of them - they are by Andrew Carson (Gallery of Modern Masters, 928-282-3313).

I did take videos of them all as there was quite a breeze blowing and they were all whizzing around this way and that and, really, what's the point of still photos of wind art?  I think this one is called Large Painted Zephyr:



There were also wind harps singing away around the place and here's one of Gary's photos of one of them:
