Last night at 'port talk' cruise director Istvan promised us a surprise for Mother's Day.

As we drove back from the day-long tour of the Austrian Lake District this afternoon we were diverted by a phone call to meet the boat at a different town than expected.

Why?  One of the boat's engines has wrecked itself and we were stuck at Schlogen, more of a bend in the Danube River than a real place.  Also it has almost non-existent internet connection.

Our port talk this evening included the information that we would not be continuing on to Amsterdam on the Vista and that it would be at least Tuesday before they could make arrangements for what we would be doing instead.
