Saturday, 16 May
As it was very late last night we had a bit of a sleep in - to about 6.30 or so. By the time I got up it was daylight and also rainy, so none of the lovely view we'd have from the hotel room window last night.
All the same, this is what we can see from up on the 17th floor of the Movenpick Hotel.

View straight ahead |
When I zoomed in on the river cruise boats I discovered they were two Avalon ships. Perhaps if the Vista gets the engine change done quickly enough and makes good time from Linz we might see her tied up here before we leave.

Avalon Felicity and Avalon Luminary |
But when I looked out to the right I nearly fell off the couch.* There was a
huge sea cruise ship tied up alongside the hotel.

Looking right |
* Design failure #1: spectacular view, but the couch is underneath the window, facing into the room so that (a) you can't stand at the window, and (b) you can't sit and enjoy the view.
I love the look of the hotel, the room, everything, but they've certainly gone for looks over usefulness.
