Still Fencing in Bengeo

Blue tit coming out of the nest
I spent ages this morning trying to get photos of the blue tits as they hurried backwards and forwards, brining non-stop food to the nest.  They must have a hundred chicks in there!

Sometime during the day Dave and Gary realised that they were spending days rebuilding a fence panel that they could probably have replaced for a small sum so Sharon and I went out and spent the small sum they had saved on plants!

The plants out front
I potted up a pelargonium and an osteospermum (in very pretty antique pastel shades rather than the usual purples or pinks) for the front yard.

The house has no side access so everything (potting mix, watering cans, weeds) have to go through the house in either direction.

While I was doing a little bit of gardening whenever I felt like it the guys were still working on the fence.  The planting was definitely going along faster than the fence repair.

Still working on that fence
In the back yard I potted up more osteospermums (same colours) and some geraniums, including a cute one with variegated leaves that I'm sure would look great at home.

Plants out the back
On our way again tomorrow ... once the fence is finished!
